In the last decade i worked at barnes and noble and one day the actress who played jesse on saved by the bell came in. Everyone was adoraing her, oogling her, worshipping her and serving hand in foot-but me. The same quality service i gave the customers i gave to her regardless of who they are. She just kept on after me to serve her,to recognize her to worship her like all the others. This has a direct bearing on the gospel in this sense: we,like that actress what to be recognized, known by our name. There is one person that should know us -that we should in the upmost want to be known by them and to know: that person is Jesus Christ......
14 I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me,
15 even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. (John 10:14-15)
15 even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. (John 10:14-15)
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

8Indeed, I count everything as loss because of(A) the surpassing worth of(B) knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I(C) have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having(D) a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but(E) that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10(F) that I may know him and(G) the power of his resurrection, and(H) may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11that by any means possible I may(I) attain the resurrection from the dead.
Straining Toward the Goal 12Not that I have already(J) obtained this or(K) am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.

(Philippians 3:8-12)
2For I resolved to know nothing (to be acquainted with nothing, to make a display of the knowledge of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing) among you except Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and Him crucified. (1 Corinthians 2:2)
6For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings(hosea 6:6)
