diabetes and embroyonic stem cells
The other day on tv there was a political ad in which a lady with diabetes is urging you not to vote for a certain politician because they are not pro embroyonic stem cell. I shook my head and declared I have diabetes and i will never condone using embroyonic stem cells to cure my or treat my diabetes.....even if they were not other alternatives:

betty la fe/betty the ugly
A popular tv show around the world is Betty la fea/ Betty the ugly (see link)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betty_la_fea and contuining the same thought in the we are series--we are betty the ugly. Sin has left us looking like betty the ugly both sins we naurally commit because we are born sinners to sins committed againest us: drugs,free sex,crime,violence: domestic/child abuse,poverty etc But when we embrace Christ as our Lord and savior all the ills we've done and has been done to us Christ transforms us by His blood from ugly betty to prince charmings and cinderellas.

we are jonathan jayne and kenneth briggs
This past week American Idol trying to draw publicity,ratings and $$$ crossed the line with undeserved meaness,disrespectful and inhuman harshness. Reflecting upon this i am glad
God does not look at us like american idol--for sin has left us undesirable,in filthy rags so we stand in the same shoes as jonathan jayne and kenneth briggs. And even though Jesus did not wear those shoes and clothes sin has given us-he knows how we feel-our struggles,our burdens.our tears.our broken dreams,our worries and our fears etc. (click on blue letters above)and Because of Him we jonathans and kennys are accepted before God.

My thoughts on the doomsday clock in light of biblical prophecywherever you be amil,premil,postmil or panmil(like Me) we all agree from the bible:1. God is sovereign

Charles Spurgeon, the London pastor from 100 years ago said,

Wii tragedy

Christian American Idol
Watching american idol lately the way it operates and the mindset it creates,promotes and thrives on-is the same condition the church here in america finds herself in. She searches,promotes ,markets a jesus,salvation,church etc by what the people want and not what God declares in His final authority in all matters: The Bible.
2 timothy 4:3-5 3-5You're going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy.
