In the book of the church authored by God the father,written in the blood of Christ the Son and published by the Holy Spirit-we christains each and everyone may contribute a word,a sentence,a paragraph or a whole chapter yet whatever we individually contribute-each is equally needed-each is equally important -without one or the other the story is not perfect or complete.....

1 Corinthians 12:13-15 (The Message)

12-13You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—but no matter how many parts you can name, you're still one body. It's exactly the same with Christ. By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive.



14-18I want you to think about how all this makes you more significant, not less. A body isn't just a single part blown up into something huge. It's all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together. If Foot said, "I'm not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don't belong to this body," would that make it so? If Ear said, "I'm not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive; I don't deserve a place on the head," would you want to remove it from the body? If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it.

captain america and materialism greed strikes again

Once again captain america sh0ws how sinfully materialistic this society has become that kids(some adults like me) can not read their favorite comic books-because people have grabbed them not to enjoy reading them-but to use them as investments.

cases in point :

1. when captain america dies you saw those issues on ebay weeks later beig autioned off.

2. just recently when capt america comes to life in a six part series -it just came out 3 days ago july 1st and guess what its already on ebay!!! It is currently bidded at twice its newstand price...

Blogging for God

this Sunday I was reflecting on Christians who blog on the Internet. It is a great responsibility and these are some of the points to reflect:

1. when we look at our blog-let us look at it in humility It Is only Thru Christ that any works of our hands are acceptable and pleasing to God-(everything we may do is tainted by sin.) If people come to Christ thru our blogging let us remember it is the Holy Spirit taking whatever crumbs of the gospel WE have placed there.Also Let us not look at fellow bloggers like we are hall of famers and they are minor leaguers.

2. Our Blogs can glorify and praise God by reclaiming those aspects of the web we can redeem biblically.

3. Our blogs need not be sanitized with Christianize rather let our minds and hearts sanctified by Christ using our everyday actions and speech and character compose our posts.

4. In posting let the Bible and principles we can deduce from it be our sole guide in the words we use,what topics we discuss and pictures we use to illustrate.

Earth without people and God

There is a show on history channel called: Life after people. The premise are scientist's and other specialists theorizing how earth will be like if there was no longer any people and they project their speculations one year after,50,100,1000 etc...

People live and likes to believe there is no God. So just imagine what if there truly was no God-how will this universe be like???It will be another place called Hell....

Our Memorial day

We christains must and should mark those momments when God has acted upon our everday lives:

1. To praise and Honor The God that is...

2. To keep us humble recognizing all these blessings and mercies did not come by our own strength or because we are somehow special-but they all come from the sovereign and gracious arm of God and God alone...

and those momments when it is dark and stormy they may act as our lighthouse,our flashlights for our walk of faith in the midst of uncertainity.......

Christain and what if's

Spike tv has a new show called Deadlist warrior where the what ifs pertaining to military history like what if ninjas meet roman soilders or pirates clashed with knights etc It is very interesting. But this thought came to mind concerning the christain and the what ifs of God-when it comes to these what ifs His word teaches us this:

i was wondering if we christains are called to claim every square inch of creation for Christ-why can't we do the same thing with scifi/fantasy???

C.S. Lewis,J.R.R. Tolkein and Gordon Macdonald has done it-these christain writers has done it in the past-why can"t christian writers do it not only today but tommorows as well?

And i do not mean to holy sanitize the genre and then put the christain label on it as a afterthought at best and at worse purposely put it on it and market it $$$$-But apply scriptures directly and the inexhaustable riches of biblical princples derived directly from the fountain of living waters to the genre....

a living testimony againest abortion

God graciously kept me till my time to be delivered-where others counseled abortion....WHAT THEN? can i do no less for my unborn-or all unborn??? to bless and share with them the same love,grace,compassion and mercy God has taught my heart????( this thought came to mind when i was reflecting on my wife's recent ultrasound revealing she is truly 7 weeks pregant and he said wait some 5 more weeks to officially announce it after the results of the standard blood tests for down syndrome etc come back-so we can have the accursed option to have a abortion if the results come back unfavorably as the world and not God defines it)

Manmade religon takes all the credit for one's salvation-The Biblical gospel gives credit to the only one who absolutely and truthfully secured and purchased our salvation for all eternity:Jesus Christ....

The other week we went to see horton hears a who and me and my son were wearing DR Seuss hats to go see it. But my mother in law saw this and told my wife about it-who insisted that we do not wear the hat till we got there. You see to my mother in law and most people IMAGE IS EVERYTHING like the nike ad awhile back. My point is because of the fall image is everything-we hide the ugliness of our heart behind a facade of nice clothes,status,education,religous rituals but that does not change the reality of that ugly heart shaped like a clutched fist towards God (trying to please God like cain our way:)

the Transformers and the gospel

Not only that the other result the people of God blessing each other and making a impact in their communities...finally what i am trying to say is that the american church which is the coffee would taste even better by the blessing of allowing other cultures which is the leche carnation to contribute their God given all to the church locally and nationally and discontuine from viewing them as unable to bring anything to God's banquet table but their physical bodies. my son takes me to theology class

My son loves me not because i brought his love by spoiling him with gifts but he loves me freely and unconditionally-this points us to God's love-He loves us not because we are this and that,that we did this or that-He loves us freely and unconditionally:

titus 3:

4 But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared,
5 not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

pastor's and seminary

Is it neccesary that Pastor's need to go to Seminary? Yes and No...honestly no if:

1. out of pride-to compete with the world...

2. as a vaccine from teaching and spreading false doctrine in the church. Church history has shown false doctrine has come from both the Seminarian trained and the untrained.

3. to get the big bucks...Remember the pastorate is not a career choice but a calling from God witnessed and attested and supported by the local church one attends...

4. it will make you a better Christain

Yes, if:

1. to better one serve the sheep God has given them...

regardless if you go to seminary or not

regardless if your name has a bunch of letters after it or not

BOth have the most prestigous name we can have: Christain,a child of God...

2 Timothy 2:14-16
